• 4-5+ years of product design, visual design, UI/UX, mobile app design
• Own design projects lifecycle and iterations
• Work closely with product, engineering, ops teams for solutions
• Influence and shape design culture at Empower
• Strong customer empathy and experience in product’s User Experience
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities
• Excellent portfolio demonstrating craft
• Proven experience with consumer-facing mobile products
• Experience iterating and building prototypes
• Excellent communication skills
• Expert skills in Figma or Sketch
• Relevant fintech experience is a plus

What the job involves

• You’ll be integral to the entire design process. Collaborate closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to bring innovative ideas to life. Apply design thinking principles to solve complex problems and create user-centered solutions.
• This involves empathizing with users, ideating on potential solutions, prototyping, and rigorously testing designs. Push boundaries and innovate to deliver exceptional value through thoughtful, well-crafted design. Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously refine skills.
• Empower is a remote-first company with regular company offsites. Travel for company offsites is expected at least twice a year.
