Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience designing for mobile with deep familiarity with iOS and Android application design that demonstrates love and care for your craft
- A strong portfolio of consumer app design that demonstrates an innate understanding of the end-to-end design process from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong communication articulating design rationale based on qualitative and quantitative data
- Strong visual and interaction design skills and deep knowledge of UI best practices
- Proficiency in prototyping your ideas to help articulate nuanced design decisions
- Experience building products in a remote or distributed team environment
- Experience building products with a global footprint
- Experience in customer journey mapping and strategic design to complement design foundations
- Expertise in Figma and experience in building maintaining and scaling design systems
Day to day
- Own design problems end to end from initial concept through shipping and beyond
- Create collaborate and iterate on flows prototypes and high-fidelity visuals
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously iterate and improve the user experience
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ship pixel-perfect designs
- Collaborate with other product designers and teams across Owlet to maintain a consistent and cohesive design language and user experience
