Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent practical experience
- Strong experience building and operating production software
- Expertise in TypeScript JavaScript Python Java or a similar production language
- Experience owning features from requirements through deployment and production support
- Confidence reasoning about mathematical models financial calculations assumptions rounding dates state transitions and edge cases
- Ability to independently validate complex financial logic and define correctness invariants
- A degree in a highly quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Good understanding of system design APIs data flows automated testing reliability performance and security
- Experience with cloud-native systems integrations distributed systems or workflow-driven products
- Practical experience using AI development tools to improve engineering productivity or quality
- Strong communication skills and a product-minded approach
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and requirements can change
- Professional experience building software in banking fintech lending payments or another complex regulated domain

Day to day
- Own features workflows and integrations from problem definition through production release
- Build clean maintainable well-tested software across the stack
- Turn ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and keep delivery moving
- Contribute to system and API design data flows reliability performance and security
- Work closely with Product Design Engineering and customers to understand real user needs
- Improve tooling documentation testing and systems while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
