Requirements

  • Experience working with grant monitoring performance or financial data
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Strong task management and organisational skills including leading bespoke pieces of work and tracking deadlines
  • Analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to assess risks interpret evidence and propose practical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to draft coordinate and quality-assure accurate correspondence briefings and communications products
  • A commitment to inclusive leadership continuous improvement knowledge sharing and learning from delivery experience
  • Experience of programme governance PMO standards reporting risk and issue management assurance or delivery planning

Day to day

  • Build and manage trust-based relationships with local authorities and delivery partners to support programme understanding delivery confidence and alignment with fund objectives.
  • Coordinate governance reporting escalation routes and PMO processes to track progress risks issues dependencies and decisions across multiple funding programmes.
  • Use data evidence and insight to support assurance monitor delivery performance improve reporting quality and inform senior decision-making.
  • Draft coordinate and quality-assure correspondence briefings and communications products including ministerial submissions PQs FOIs and fund updates.
