• Ability to inspire and lead a project team to strive for delivery excellence and continuous improvement
• Experience of Pre-Sales Consultancy and Project/Services Definition
• Experience of working in a managed services environment
• Experience of managing projects according to recognized project management methodologies
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• High level of organization and prioritization of multiple projects
• Highly analytical with the ability to work to KPIs (including utilization, daily rates, backlog)
• Ability to lead discussions and gain agreement on method of implementing solutions for customers setting correct expectations
• High-level understanding of company products required
• Strong organization skills (time management, administration)
• Ability to travel as required

What the job involves

• You will manage a range of medium to large projects within the ITO Professional services portfolio
• You will produce clear project definitions including deliverables, risks, impacts, and costs at the initiation stage
• You will estimate effort and time needed to meet deliverables, ensuring projects remain on track within agreed costs and timescales
• You will apply control to the project, reporting progress weekly to stakeholders
• You will establish an environment for the project team to complete work, ensuring good relationships with clients and suppliers
• You will drive resolution of project issues and interface with the Technical Lead on complex issues
• You will be responsible for the budget and profit of implementation projects
• You will work closely with consultants to ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of implementation
• You will deliver effective utilisation across the ITO Professional Services Project Delivery team, following governance and delivery processes
• You will ensure scheduled work and all follow-up actions are completed accurately and timely, facilitating close working relationships
