Requirements
- 5+ years in performance engineering
- Hands-on experience with load stress soak and spike testing
- Strong experience with k6 or similar tools
- Comfortable with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog Grafana or CloudWatch
- Strong programming ability in at least one language
- Experience with microservices distributed systems and service isolation techniques
- Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS infrastructure preferred
- Strong communication and cross-team presence

Day to day
- Own performance and scalability across a platform of microservices and event-driven flows.
- Design and build realistic performance tests for services in isolation and at production scale, using stubs and mocks where needed.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD, diagnose regressions from logs and traces, and drive fixes with engineering and product teams.
