Who you are

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
  • Experience in the healthcare sector preferred
  • Expertise in automated and manual testing tools
  • Experience with RESTful API and web application testing using tools like Postman TestRail JMeter and Jira
  • Proven ability to lead a team mentor junior engineers and manage testing projects from planning to execution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with teams stakeholders and clients
  • Active Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain one
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desirables

  • Experience within the Defense Health Agency
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud or GCP
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards
  • Experience with emerging AI technologies



What the job involves

  • Guide and mentor a team of QA engineers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Provide leadership in test strategy execution and reporting ensuring that all team members are aligned with the project goals
  • Identify critical and repetitive test scenarios and oversee their automation execution and maintenance
  • Drive the implementation of automated testing frameworks ensuring efficiency and reliability in testing processes
  • Take ownership of the QA process ensuring that bugs are triaged and resolved promptly
  • Lead efforts to understand project and customer context objectives and use cases ensuring the delivery of coherent consistent and complete solutions
  • Work closely with project teammates to deliver high-quality software participating in standups planning meetings and contributing to risk and hazard identification and analysis
  • Document test results root cause analyses and collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain test plans test cases and test procedures for various testing types including interface testing system integration testing functional testing and performance testing
