Remote Senior Quality Engineer Job in United States EDZ Systems

Who you are

• Experience with Selenium Automation Framework
• Experience with multiple automation programming languages and quality assurance testing tools
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field, or equivalent education/experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Quality Assurance Engineer methodologies and practices
• Understanding of Software development Life Cycle and QA's role in the framework
• Knowledge of computer hardware/software, operating systems, browsers, Internet navigation, and downloading/installing software like SQL, Oracle, business objects, web technologies, security/authentication technologies
• Familiar with multiple software development methodologies like Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, Behavior-driven development
• Knowledge of test case management and execution using test management tools
• Experience with automated test methodology and QA standards
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Strong professional relationship building and maintaining skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with programming languages
• Strong analytical, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to perform independent research and analysis and draw logical conclusions
• Ability to work effectively in highly matrixed or virtual organizations

• Assist with setup and maintenance of test environments and develop test case automation criteria
• Support manual testers with automation needs and execute manual test cases as needed
• Identify technical and operational problems on installed systems
• Prepare for and take part in testing activities for production deployments and remediation
• Perform other duties as assigned
