Requirements

  • 3+ years contributing to secure outcomes with engineering teams
  • Experience with OWASP Top 10 and other industry standards
  • Experience with application security and security testing
  • Experience in secure code review
  • Basic skills in one or more of PHP Python Kotlin JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely with overlap with Pacific Time

Day to day

  • Partner with engineering teams to strengthen security through consultation education tooling and process improvements
  • Perform targeted code reviews and security assessments for high risk designs vulnerabilities and security sensitive features throughout the Secure Development Lifecycle
  • Help evaluate emerging AI technologies and development practices by providing practical secure guidance guardrails and risk assessments
  • Handle application vulnerability reports from third party sources prioritize remediation with engineering teams and support incident response post mortems and on call duties
