Requirements
- 6+ years of security engineering experience with application and cloud security expertise
- Strong proficiency in Python or Go for security automation
- Experience with SAST DAST and SCA tools and CI/CD automation
- Experience with cloud security in AWS or GCP including IAM VPC WAF or CSPM
- Experience with JIT access controls PAM or cryptographic key lifecycles
- Experience securing Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Experience in healthcare fintech or another regulated industry
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Day to day
- Design and implement robust security controls across application and cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS and related infrastructure.
- Build and automate security workflows for vulnerability management, CI/CD scanning, privileged access, data protection, and incident response support.
- Partner closely with engineering, SecOps, and platform teams to harden systems, reduce risk, and improve security maturity across the product lifecycle.
