  • 4-year degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • 5-10+ years in professional full-stack or backend-focused software engineering roles
  • Proven experience owning and operating production API and backend systems end-to-end
  • Strong system design and architectural judgment
  • Ability to work independently lead by example and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly
  • Pragmatic execution-oriented mindset in fast-moving environments
  • Experience using Spring Framework and Spring Boot with Java in production
  • Experience building Temporal workflows and activities
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs
  • Experience building containerized applications with Docker
  • Experience with distributed version control systems like Git
  • Experience using AI-assisted and/or agentic workflows
