Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+ years of professional development experience building APIs and services
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating in a remote environment
  • Proven track record delivering complex full-stack projects across product and technology initiatives
  • Strong expertise in modern backend frameworks such as Python Django and Typescript Node.js
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal with a positive mindset
  • Ability to make sound technical decisions based on requirements constraints and trade-offs
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with unit integration and end-to-end testing

Nice to have

  • AWS experience
  • CI/CD familiarity
  • Terraform familiarity
  • Health tech experience

Day to day

  • Lead projects from requirements gathering through implementation in close collaboration with product design and data engineering teams
  • Prototype architect and code core platform services in Typescript Node.js and Python Django while improving authentication payments entitlements and shared services
  • Shape system architecture author and review technical specifications and build robust high impact user workflows with strong testing and quality standards
