Remote Senior Software Engineer C++ Job in London, UK NinjaOne

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of OOP design principles
• 7+ years of C++ development experience
• 5+ years of Qt development experience
• Experience with networking, real-time voice, and video data transmission applications
• Experience developing in a Linux Debian environment, including shell scripting, RPM, and Deb packing
• Experience working with low-level API's on Linux, Windows, and Mac
• Experience with Valgrind, gdb, QtCreator
• Git versioning control experience
• Experience communicating directly with customers

Desirables

• Embedded development experience with Rasbian
• Experience with JSON, Javascript, Java
• Knowledge and experience working with AWS or similar cloud service
• Experience using SQL, Postgres, MSSQL or similar technology

What the job involves

• You will be designing, implementing, and maintaining features within our newest product suites.
• Work closely with product development teams to work on new features critical to customers and various internal teams.
• Deal with non-functioning code, providing fixes and creating sprints for new features and integrations.
• Use the latest technology, including compilers and language standards, improving code base.
• Work in an agile team environment focusing on rapid customer results.
• Build IT Operations software products supporting modern hypervisors, SAAS, and more via our RMM platform.
• Ensure seamless integration for the product's overall success.
