  • Experience in compliance-regulated or security-sensitive environments is a strong plus
  • Willingness to work across the stack and pitch in where needed
  • Customer-obsessed and able to diagnose root causes in unfamiliar systems

Day to day

  • Design, build, and harden product features for a compliance-regulated cloud environment with a strong focus on security controls data privacy and auditability
  • Develop GovCloud-specific capabilities such as authentication audit logging compliance tooling and tenant management features
  • Create abstractions automated testing and environment-aware tooling that help engineers ship safely across commercial and government cloud environments
  • Analyze the application for security gaps and implement changes that improve encryption access control retention and operational resilience
  • Work cross-functionally with product design and engineering teams to translate compliance requirements into practical technical solutions and mentor others on secure development
