Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science business or related field
- 8–10+ years of experience in the technology industry
- 8–10+ years designing and implementing large scale distributed systems
- Experience with agile and iterative project management methodology
- Experience building high-quality user experiences for high-volume applications
- Experience with application interface design modelling and implementation
- Experience with core software development activities including requirements gathering design construction and testing
- Experience building APIs and services using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+
- Experience with React TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
- Experience with browser testing for desktop tablet and mobile applications
- Experience with source code management such as Visual Studio Online or Gitlab
- Experience leveraging AI tools and agents in the software development process
- Experience with Microsoft Azure including App Services Container Apps Azure Functions Azure Service Bus Azure SQL Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Experience with modern IAM solutions including OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect token-based authentication and Azure AD Entra ID Auth0 or similar
- Knowledge of security-based design patterns
- Knowledge of DevOps cloud-based storage and communication patterns
- Knowledge of current software engineering trends best practices and standards

Day to day
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native applications on Azure using microservices and event-driven architectures
- Develop and maintain C#/.NET backend services and React-based front-end applications with a strong focus on scalability reliability and observability
- Partner with product platform and support teams to deliver resilient high-performance solutions while leading incident response mentoring engineers and improving delivery practices
