Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum five years experience in UNIX/Linux/POSIX based systems software development
  • Knowledge of developing system software using C and C++
  • Understanding of Data Structures, memory management, algorithms, locking, design patterns, concurrency models, multithreading, parallel programming, and asynchronous concepts
  • Knowledge of distributed software systems, operating systems, file systems or embedded software
  • Knowledge of storage networking protocols, connectivity, and architectures

Day to day

  • Develop and deliver solutions to distributed computing problems for scale-out OneFS filesystem and data services
  • Develop features for OneFS to address scale, performance, and GenAI readiness of PowerScale
  • Collaborate within and outside of your scrum team to ensure optimized solutions
  • Constantly improve new and current technologies with team support behind you
