Requirements
- Comprehensive experience with Unity
- Proficiency in Python and C#
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in SDET/Technical QA Lead role
- Experience in building automation frameworks
- Ability to review system requirements and understand technical architecture
- Knowledge of end-to-end automation pipelines including CI, device farms, and result reporting
Day to day
- Strategizing, designing, implementing, and iterating on automation frameworks in Unity
- Maintaining integration with the device farm
- Identifying and implementing new automation hooks into the game
- Managing suites of automated tests and triggering on the build machines
- Creating automated reports for pass/fail rates and reliability
- Diagnosing and managing failing tests
- Coaching and mentoring the QA team on automation frameworks
- Encouraging adoption of automated testing among Gram Dev teams
- Proactively identifying opportunities for automated testing in game feature development
