Requirements

  • Deep expertise in at least one language preferably Typescript
  • Proficiency overseeing agentic delivery across other languages
  • Experience architecting services with layered testing
  • Frontend experience with NextJS or React frameworks
  • Familiarity with coding agents such as Claude Code Codex and Gemini CLI
  • Experience querying large datasets with AWS Athena or DuckDB
  • Experience with Postgres and NoSQL such as AWS DynamoDB
  • Experience building and using CI CD tools like GitHub Actions
  • Experience building and changing production AWS infrastructure with IaC
  • Experience with container environments and cloud native services like Lambda S3 and CloudFront
  • Experience integrating observability tooling and troubleshooting complex systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and solve novel problems
  • Track record of strong ownership urgency and follow through
  • Demonstrated habit of using AI tools daily with sound judgment
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at hire

Day to day

  • Build and improve the core Stratusphere platform, backend services, infrastructure, data pipelines, and agent tooling
  • Work closely with customer success, human-in-the-loop teams, and customers to test and mature solutions quickly
  • Use agent-first development practices to design reliable, maintainable, and auditable cloud automation that delivers measurable outcomes
  • Scrutinize AI-generated plans and code and ensure implementations are scalable, thoroughly tested, and aligned with engineering standards
  • Partner with product and engineering to evolve the platform, improve agent behavior, and turn customer problems into effective features
