Remote Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Job in New York, NY Daily Harvest

Who you are

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years experience in mobile app development, preferably e-commerce or Shopify
• 4+ years experience with React Native mobile framework
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery systems
• Solid foundation in JavaScript or Typescript development is a bonus
• Expert in app analytics, debugging, monitoring tools, networking, and push notifications is a plus
• Experience with JSX, Jest, Redux, redux-saga, GraphQL is a bonus
• Familiar with build and release procedures/tools (e.g., xcodebuild, Github Actions CI/CD, App Store Connect)
• Preferred contributor to the React Native or open source community

What the job involves

• Work on the team responsible for the Daily Harvest iOS and Android apps
• Implement a cutting-edge user experience for both Android and iOS platforms
• Identify and build platform elements to support key mobile product features
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and other digital product team members to develop a best-of-breed digital experience
• Participate in mobile code review and proactively manage crash monitoring and bug fixes
