Remote Senior Software Engineer (Product) Job in London, UK Phaidra

Who you are

• Possess 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong understanding of back-end web development and system design.
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or have equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in production software engineering including data modeling, understanding of micro-services and event-driven systems.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana or similar is essential.

What the job involves

• Develop and mentor peers within the team, enhancing the team's technical skills and fostering a strong engineering culture.
• Drive the technical vision and architecture for Phaidra's product engineering team, ensuring the development of reliable and scalable services.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Solution Architects to understand and transform user requirements into actionable solutions.
• Operate and monitor your services in production to meet Phaidra's high standards for operational excellence including smooth deployments and reliability.
