Requirements
- 5+ years testing experience
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
- Experience programming with Python
- Experience testing frontend and backend applications
- Experience developing automated test suites
- Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
- Experience writing documentation and test procedures
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting test failures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Debugging/troubleshooting software applications and hardware/operating systems
- Networking experience
- Working knowledge of Git and Jira
Day to day
- Lead a team of test engineers building tests automation and performing testing of our smart energy products
- Develop scripts and tools to automate testing
- Build network environments for system testing
- Perform system tests and first level triage of issues discovered through test activities
- Drive bug resolution with the development team
- Ensure the test team has processes tools and training to fully validate products in a timely manner
- Represent quality control and ensure that products meet agreed quality standards before delivery
