Requirements
- 7+ years of product design experience preferably in a startup or entrepreneurial environment
- Proven track record to design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Strong command of customer discovery, hypothesis validation, and rapid user testing approaches
- Fluency in modern design and prototyping tools
- Ability to create annotated and detailed mock-ups from low-fidelity to pixel perfect designs
- Balanced user experience, business needs, technical feasibility, and time-to-market
- Clear communication about your designs at all stages
- Work efficiently with a geographically distributed team
- Commitment to Mozilla’s values
Nice to have
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
- Experience designing for multiple platforms
- Experience in enterprise software, family tech, or developer tooling
- Comfort with designing interfaces for an AI future
Day to day
- Play a crucial role in a small, dynamic team, beginning with just two individuals, to explore and bring new concepts to life through rapid iterations and prototyping.
- Validate assumptions, test hypotheses, and work closely with product managers, engineers, and other collaborators to go to market with new product offerings.
- Design across all stages of the early product lifecycle from discovery through launch and initial growth. Thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, navigate the unique challenges of building 0 to 1 products.
