Requirements
- 7+ years building shipping and supporting web applications
- 5+ years of React experience
- Experience independently delivering a small web app or major feature
- Familiarity with React TypeScript and potentially Electron
- Ability to work with autonomy and self-direction in a team environment
- Willingness to contribute wherever needed in a fast-moving startup
- Comfort working across domains and languages with curiosity to learn
- Deep expertise using AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows
- Bonus experience with audio playback audio recording file encryption or offline support

Day to day
- Design, build, and support easy-to-use React and TypeScript applications that scale the business
- Set and uphold standards for accessibility and design system usage across the front end
- Make thoughtful technology decisions that balance business needs with security, privacy, and quality
- Enhance existing systems to add new functionality while improving performance, stability, and maintainability
- Advocate for code quality, reduce technical debt, and contribute to a strong engineering culture
- Collaborate closely with design product machine learning and infrastructure teams while mentoring other engineers
