Requirements
- Comfortable building full-stack solutions from backend services to front-end interfaces and styling.
- 3+ years of experience with modern web frameworks such as Express, Next.js, TypeScript, and React.
- 3+ years working with various databases including SQL, NoSQL, and text search technologies.
- Highly motivated to contribute to technologies that positively impact society.
- Ready to wear multiple hats and lead as our team expands.
- Eligible for work in Canada or the US.
Nice to have
- Strong portfolio of open-source projects.
- Background in working within an early-stage startup environment.
- Experience building Chrome extensions with deep DOM integration.
Day to day
- Develop intuitive, AI-powered web applications from the ground up using React, Node.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Work on secure and well-tested APIs, authentication mechanisms, and payment flows within our Node.js and SQL backend infrastructure hosted on AWS.
- Leverage analytics and user feedback to refine and enhance our product-led conversion funnel, employing the latest methodologies and best practices.
- Partner with machine learning, design, and business teams to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Gain a deep understanding of our user base by engaging with clients and power users from various sectors including academia, marketing, publishing, and data labeling.
- Ensure the development of reliable software with comprehensive testing and effective monitoring systems.
