Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related technical field
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience in a software engineering or technical product environment
  • Familiarity with developer platform tooling such as GitLab Datadog Jira Confluence Slack or Figma
  • Understanding of CI/CD infrastructure-as-code and SLOs
  • Ability to write clear plain-language content for complex digital workflows
  • Proven track record reducing confusion through structured guidance and microcopy
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards inclusive language and compliance constraints
  • Experience partnering with product legal compliance and engineering
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a High Risk Public Trust clearance

Day to day

  • Create and maintain architecture blueprints reference architectures and golden path templates for a secure engineering platform
  • Translate complex technical designs into clear action-oriented documentation for engineering audiences working with sensitive financial data
  • Write runbooks ADRs onboarding guides service catalogs and self-service portal content that reduce confusion and improve adoption
  • Partner with engineers security teams and product managers to ensure documentation accuracy accessibility and compliance
