At Raya, we’re focused on building a solution to a problem our team has often encountered: there’s no good way to meet like-minded people online, and if you do, it’s very hard to take those interactions into the real world. That’s why we set out to create a trusted online community where people felt comfortable finding life partners, friends, and work collaborations. Just as we bring people together around the world, we work hard to build a community here at Raya. We are a family of talented individuals who have all devoted our careers to finding exciting ways to foster human connection through technology. When we’re not collaborating over our next product features or huddling in our daily standup, you can find our team sharing a meal at the lunch table or enjoying a post-work outing. We have openings around the world: Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, and Mexico City.

Raya

In a world where many social apps measure their success by time spent online, Raya is a technology company focused on providing utility. Our iOS only app is a tool for discovery of and access to exciting people, events, opportunities, and recommendations globally. We believe that by marrying great software with a membership based community built around core values of trust, creativity, and reciprocity, we can provide solutions that have heretofore been impossible.

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Member Experience server team. Member Experience owns the full member lifecycle - from a prospective member's first application through onboarding, payments, and renewal month after month. That surface spans application and acceptance, authentication and login, onboarding, subscriptions and in-app purchases including Raya+, reactivation and referrals, and member communications. These are net-new payment systems built for scale rather than legacy systems in maintenance, with high ownership and direct revenue impact.
