Who you are
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent
- Conversant with electrical engineering disciplines
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience in maintaining/repairing cranes or industrial equipment
- Health & Safety awareness
- Personable with regular customer contact
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Willing to work extra hours with paid overtime
- Current driving licence
- Willingness to work on the On-Call Rota with enhanced premium
What the job involves
- Maintenance, repair and upgrade of customers' lifting equipment
- Varied work with different daily tasks
- Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead travelling cranes
- Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns
- Consulting with customers on repair and safety issues
- Completing documentation through a mobile device
