Remote SLM Principal Consultant / Master Solution Architect Job in UK ITC Infotech

Who you are

• Educational background in Engineering/Industrial Engineering or Computer Science/Mathematics or Physics (Bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• 10+ years of experience in business process or IT consulting e.g., as Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Software Developer or in technical project management
• Knowledge around the following software: Windchill Service Information Manager (SIM), Arbortext Editor / Styler , Arbortext Publishing Engine , (APE), Service & Parts Information, (S&PI) Arbortext Content Delivery (ACD)
• Specific SLM industry knowledge, e.g., from the automotive industry, automotive supplier industry, aerospace, medical technology, electronics & high-tech, mechanical and plant engineering, etc.
• Business knowledge on Authoring , Aftermarket, Technical documentation is a plus
• Knowledge on DITA , S1000D, DTD creation is appreciated
• XML/XSL-T/CSS and stylesheet knowledge is required
• Experience in designing, configuring, or customizing enterprise SLM solutions
• Able to work autonomously and focus on goals
• Experience in leading software integration projects
• Knowledge of IT architectures related to PLM (client-server, cloud, SaaS, ...), software development, interfaces, and database systems
• Customer service-oriented
• Experience in conducting and managing workshops
• Full professional proficiency in English

What the job involves

• Lead major parts of our client’s projects as a Solution Architect for Service Lifecycle Management (SLM)
• Define client-specific solution architectures for SLM with a focus on the processes and the application of PLM/SLM or on technical implementation
• Analyze customer requirements, design, and specify the solutions and ensure their successful implementation
• Ensure quality through appropriate methods and software engineering processes
• Design standardized solution components as part of the portfolio of DxP Services
• Support the further development of DxP Services’ methods and strategies in the area of SLM
• Identify potential new projects with clients and support the acquisition of this new business
• Support sales and marketing activities of DxP Services for strategic customers
