Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, with 3-5 years of experience as a Software/Application Architect or similar role.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and documenting systems and processes in a regulated/controlled industry and supporting security and privacy frameworks.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with application performance optimization.
  • Experience with high-level architecture and system design.
  • Extensive expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
  • Extensive expertise in Amazon RDS - PostgreSQL database design and modeling.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of databases (SQL) and data modeling/analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams.

Desirables

  • Advanced degree
  • Training in DevOps, system development, and/or programming
  • Relevant certifications

  • This position works closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure our application meets business requirements and industry standards.
