Remote Software Architect Job in New York City Metropolitan Auxilius

Who you are

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software development and architecture
• Proficiency in programming languages (Typescript preferred)
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and/or GCP
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD Pipelines (Terraform knowledge preferred)
• Strong leadership presence comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
• Excellent communication skills across a wide variety of audiences
• Ability to work well independently and with remote/hybrid teams

What the job involves

• Develop and maintain the architecture for software systems ensuring scalability performance and security
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams promoting best practices and coding standards
• Work closely with the Product Team and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Assess and recommend tools frameworks and technologies to improve the software development process
• Create and maintain documentation including design patterns workflows and technical specifications
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to architectural standards
• Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
• Stay updated with emerging software technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization
