Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Excellent knowledge and experience SaaS software architecture design patterns
- Excellent communication of architecture ideas and designs to the team
- Experience with designing and scaling Event Driven Systems (e.g. SQS, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, etc.)
- Experience with serverless architecture
- Experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc)
- Experience with performance testing as part of CI/CD
- Experience leading the design of the backend for a SaaS product or scaling an existing SaaS product
- Experience designing and building APIs, services or microservices and backend architecture
- Experience scaling backend infrastructure - server management, hosting and deployment, implementation and CI/CD
- Interested in working in and evolving our stack AWS, MongoDB, Docker, Node.js, GQL, TypeScript, React, React Native, Cypress, detox
- Experience working in a remote team
- Comfortable reviewing and testing your team’s work and providing thoughtful feedback

Day to day
- As a Software Architect at Cove, you’ll be joining our product and engineering team and have outsized influence over how our software is built and the tools we use.
- Your role will consist of architecting, building and operating our software platform and delivering a great experience to our users.
- You will design, develop, and evolve our SaaS platform to accommodate customer and team growth, while driving technical projects and creating an empowering environment for developers.
