Requirements

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts and development patterns
  • Ability to plan manage and track own work

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience in a business environment including web development web applications and web services
  • Experience creating and reviewing technical designs for large and complex features
  • Experience conducting code reviews for performance standards and quality
  • Experience with case management systems financial management systems or governmental database management systems is highly desirable

Day to day

  • Troubleshoot support issues in a proprietary case management system
  • Write maintainable code that follows established readability and standards
  • Contribute to technical designs and participate in scrum and design meetings
  • Research issues, debug complex applications, and correct bugs with minimal oversight
  • Create documentation, manuals, and end-user instructions when needed
