Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong C# .NET and Python experience
- Experience designing and building REST APIs and distributed backend services
- Experience with automated testing code reviews CI/CD and production operations
- Strong SQL skills and high-performance analytical data model design
- Experience building pipelines with Databricks Azure Data Factory or similar tools
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage and modern lakehouse architecture
- Experience building cloud-native data platforms on Microsoft Azure
- Experience operating distributed systems in production
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or equivalent practical experience

Day to day
- Design and develop production software in Python and C# for a cloud-native data platform
- Build reusable libraries frameworks and SDKs that help other engineering teams move faster
- Create and maintain REST APIs backend services and scalable ingestion and processing components
- Operate production services with strong focus on reliability observability performance and scalability
- Collaborate with engineers data scientists product managers and analytics teams on secure high-quality data solutions
