Who you are

• 2+ years of full-time programming experience in a group/team environment or a degree in a related field
• Experience with React and/or React Native
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with server-side and client-side security best practices
• Embraces Agile principles and Scrum
• Able to navigate ambiguous requirements while prioritizing multiple projects, tasks, and bug fixes
• Contributes to testing and overall engineering best practices

Desirables

• Experience with Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin
• Experience with iOS, Android, tvOS, and Roku
• Advocates Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, LEAN, and SOLID principles
• Knowledge of data security best practices related to PCI/DSS/CISP/HIPAA
• Ability to diagram technical solutions

What the job involves

• Work closely with designers and product managers to build robust, scalable, and secure systems
• Provide accurate estimates of work within the scrum team
• Give and receive feedback on code reviews, and work in multiple programming languages including Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin, React Native
• Document work in the form of API Docs, Wiki Documentation, etc.
• Prioritize secure, scalable code and continually seek improvement
