Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript React and modern frontend architecture including component design routing state management accessibility and responsive UI delivery
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript Node.js backend development with experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs service boundaries validation error handling and shared domain models
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless architecture especially Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB S3 SSM IAM CloudWatch and serverless IaC deployment using Serverless Framework and CloudFormation
- Excellent understanding of frontend and backend testing practices including unit integration and component testing with Jest React Testing Library Storybook Playwright Cypress or similar
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines environment-based deployments and secure configuration secrets management

Day to day
- Own quality assurance across the platform while also contributing hands-on frontend and backend engineering work
- Build a testing-first mindset into feature development by identifying edge cases failure states regressions and user impact early
- Improve automated testing testability CI/CD checks fixtures environments and release confidence so software can ship safely and reliably
- Collaborate with the Compliance Team to create testing tools and automated processes that support SaMD regulatory compliance
