Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership through mentoring enablement or cross-team collaboration
- Deep hands-on proficiency with C# and .NET ASP.NET Core
- Strong experience designing and supporting backend services and RESTful APIs in production
- Experience building reusable libraries shared services or platform capabilities used by multiple teams
- Experience with Python services development or support
- Experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda API Gateway RDS or DynamoDB
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and cloud-hosted deployments
- Working knowledge of API security and authentication including OAuth2 JWT and API keys
- Proven ability to mentor engineers communicate effectively and influence technical decisions without direct authority

Day to day
- Lead a hands-on backend and cloud platform team that builds shared services reusable capabilities and integration patterns for clinical trial technologies
- Design and ship high-volume backend services and device-driven REST APIs for provisioning deprovisioning study configuration and offline-capable sync
- Drive platform engineering practices with a scrappy execution-first mindset while improving CI/CD deployment security compliance and developer productivity
- Coach a senior-heavy team contribute to hiring and influence delivery through technical leadership and example
