Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent practical experience
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience including technical leadership across multiple teams
- Experience enabling delivery of scalable enterprise-grade software in distributed or cloud-hosted environments
- Strong hands-on experience with backend and frontend technologies such as C#/.NET RESTful APIs and modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL SQL Server or similar systems
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence and align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting production systems including incident triage root cause analysis and cross-team coordination
- Ability to work remotely within the United States with availability aligned to Eastern Time collaboration
Day to day
- Lead and support a small solution engineering team focused on reusable libraries and shared platform capabilities.
- Coach a senior-heavy engineering team while helping with hiring and team development as needed.
- Collaborate with product architecture QA and engineering teams to drive standards guidance and adoption of platform solutions.
- Champion secure development practices modern CI/CD and pragmatic improvements that boost developer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex production issues and coordinate cross-team incident resolution and prioritization.
