Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Expert in at least one modern programming language Java preferred
- Experience writing tests and testable code
- Ability and flexibility to learn on the job quickly
- Great problem-solving mentality
- Experience delivering across managed cloud platforms such as AWS
- Pragmatic balance of quality and fast-paced schedule
- Good team player ready to help, debate, compromise and collaborate
- Comfortable prototyping and delivering incrementally with user in mind
- Eye for detail and big picture view
- Skills in reviewing, releasing, deploying and troubleshooting code
- Experience in healthcare industry or with Ionic hybrid apps
- Exposure to highly scalable and distributed systems

Day to day
- Work in software engineering teams, building platform and product for use by patients and healthcare professionals
- Build scalable, well-tested applications and microservices
- Collaborate closely with biomedical engineering, data science, electronics engineering and product science
- Operate across the stack with significant back-end or data engineering experience
- Contribute to technical design and code reviews
- Provide 24/7 support for the product and resolve live issues when needed
- Deliver key objectives to scale product and enhance healthcare provision
- Work closely with Product Management to ensure accountable outcomes
- Contribute to the product vision and strategy
- Consider the impact of the team's work on organization's broader architecture and cooperation opportunities
