  • 2+ years building production software with strong Python skills
  • 2+ years working with relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS
  • Proven experience with LLMs and production-ready RAG pipelines
  • Strong proficiency in API design data modeling relational database design and testing methodologies
  • Proficiency with Git Docker CI/CD and automated testing frameworks

Day to day

  • Design and scale production AI systems that power conversation responses and automation for local government workflows
  • Build and maintain RAG pipelines including ingestion chunking embeddings retrieval reranking and grounded response generation
  • Implement LLM tooling and function calling to connect AI workflows with internal systems while preventing hallucinations and improving reliability
