Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an Android developer
- Experience with Compose and expertise in Kotlin
- Deep expertise in the Android ecosystem
- Proven track record of building and shipping user-facing features at scale
- Eye for design and strive for pixel perfection
- Think through edge cases and put the user first
- Proactive, resourceful, and enjoy autonomous environments
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Capture complex situations and communicate to technical and non-technical partners quickly

Day to day
- Work closely with founders, product, design, and data teams to solve dynamic user problems and build robust, user-facing features
- Build and ship new product features to increase friendship in the world
- Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code, build observability and monitoring, improve infrastructure and tooling
- Significant input into product development and strategy
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to co-create product solutions
- Grow and improve skills through feedback and learning from a talented team
- Create a positive product that brings people’s voices together and helps build friendships
