Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in C# or C++ / .NET, Angular
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL development, including developing SQL queries, designing tables, stored procedures, indexes, views, functions, and performance tuning
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud service platform solutions strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred
  • Experience in Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS and SSRS
  • Experience with RESTful services (such as Azure Function Apps) and consuming or implementing APIs
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies to support Agile planning and work estimation
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing and code tuning
  • Experience with distributed source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Knowledge of agile software development suite of tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
  • Proficiency with relational databases including writing stored procedures and queries
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability and dedication to meeting aggressive deadlines while ensuring quality delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred experience in health insurance industry

  • Design, develop, and maintain core applications in our Applications Engineering development team
  • Support the success of the applications engineering team by developing high quality, robust software features
  • Provide technical support throughout various aspects of the software development life cycle
