Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in C# or C++ / .NET, Angular
2+ years of experience in SQL development, including developing SQL queries, designing tables, stored procedures, indexes, views, functions, and performance tuning
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud service platform solutions strongly preferred
2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment strongly preferred
Experience in Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS and SSRS
Experience with RESTful services (such as Azure Function Apps) and consuming or implementing APIs
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies to support Agile planning and work estimation
Experience with unit testing, integration testing and code tuning
Experience with distributed source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
Knowledge of agile software development suite of tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
Proficiency with relational databases including writing stored procedures and queries
Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability and dedication to meeting aggressive deadlines while ensuring quality delivery
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred experience in health insurance industry

Day to day

Design, develop, and maintain core applications in our Applications Engineering development team
Support the success of the applications engineering team by developing high quality, robust software features
Provide technical support throughout various aspects of the software development life cycle
