• Develops embedded software for Tandem's insulin pump products
• Releases regular software updates containing new platform features quality improvements and optimizations
• Prepares feature designs improves code architecture works cross-functionally with other teams
• Follows corporate software process to prepare develop and test embedded software units
• Contributes to team initiatives project milestones and code reviews
• Maintains and reviews software requirements specifications interface descriptions and documentation
