Software Engineer

Day to day

• Design develop and maintain secure cloud-based applications that integrate multiple complex data sources and machine-learning capabilities
• Collaborate with customers analysts engineers and other stakeholders to define system performance requirements and interfaces
• Ensure the highest standards of code quality by writing automated tests supporting manual testing and participating in thorough code reviews
• Following project plans and providing scoping/timing estimates for appropriate tasks and pro-actively communicating issues that may affect them
• Build secure applications that meet U.S. Government cybersecurity requirements
• Design and develop database management systems data manipulation and visualization techniques and access control services and interfaces
• Prepare appropriate configuration and change management documentation that provides the detailed workflow and diagrams that describe input output logic and deployment schemes
