Requirements

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Clean production-quality coding ability
  • Degree or rigorous experience in Computer Science Mathematics Physics Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Fluency in Python Rust Go or Typescript/Javascript
  • Experience building information retrieval systems using semantic search or RAG
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to reason about upstream and downstream effects
  • AI-fluent with ability to debug and think from first principles
  • Clear async communication and strong writing skills
  • Comfort working autonomously in a fully remote environment
  • Located in US time zones

Day to day

  • Build internal tools and AI systems that power the Support team’s daily work
  • Design and ship AI drafting tools autonomous reply systems workflow automation reporting dashboards and other friction-reducing support tooling
  • Collaborate directly with Support Reps Support Engineers and the Director of Support to identify painful workflows then own and deliver improvements end to end
  • Improve underlying integrations and abstractions across systems like Close Stripe and Twilio while experimenting measuring and shipping practical solutions
