Requirements
- 2+ years of Eng management experience
- Experience managing remote teams
- Experience doing reviews, hiring, and compensation
- Demonstrated leadership of Engineering teams
- Proven customer relationship skill sets
- On-premise, cloud, and hybrid product background
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (like AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and transports
- Ability to validate work with qualitative or quantitative data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Strong proficiency for testing
- Distaste for unscalable code
Day to day
- You will be a leader of the Insomnia engineering team, responsible for the Open Source and Enterprise versions of Insomnia
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the team on developing new features and tooling for Insomnia
- Engage with the Insomnia open source community, maintain healthy Engineering teams, and assure high-quality work
