Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with 2+ years managing engineers directly
- Experience shipping production systems in modern web and cloud stacks such as Node.js TypeScript React or comparable
- Proven success leading a team to consistent high-quality delivery including hiring performance calibration and career growth
- Strong foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on familiarity with React TypeScript NodeJS Express AWS and modern databases like DynamoDB and PostgreSQL
- Experience with high-availability systems using EKS Kubernetes CI/CD Infrastructure as Code and observability tools
- Deep respect for security and data privacy with HIPAA PHI or regulated environment exposure a strong plus
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills with Product UX and leadership

Day to day
- Lead and coach a team of software engineers delivering critical dispatching platforms for healthcare and public transit.
- Drive predictable delivery by planning work with Product removing blockers and maintaining healthy team rhythms.
- Partner with Tech Leads and senior engineers to shape architecture improve reliability and uphold security and HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate across Product UX Data and Engineering to align priorities manage dependencies and keep the ecosystem evolving smoothly.
