Requirements
- Proven experience managing software engineering teams within Agile environments
- Strong understanding of modern engineering practices including CI/CD automated testing cloud-native development and security-focused engineering
- Experience in performance management coaching and developing engineering talent
- Skilled in building inclusive team cultures that encourage innovation autonomy and continuous improvement
- Ability to influence technical decisions without being hands-on day-to-day
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Competent in hiring onboarding and resource planning
- Familiarity with delivery metrics specifically Flow to optimise delivery and continuous improvement
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Day to day
- Lead one or more engineering teams and set them up for success through supportive, effective leadership
- Partner with Agile Delivery Managers, Staff and Principal Engineers and Product teams to deliver clear priorities and strong technical execution
- Champion modern engineering practices, strengthen engineering culture and drive continuous improvement across a fast-moving domain
