Requirements
- Previous experience managing and recruiting other software engineers
- Experience hands-on experience building and maintaining a complex back-end application
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and occasionally with customers
- Familiarity with principles of high-quality code, including continuous integration, declarative and functional programming
- Well-versed in agile or lean planning and project management processes

Day to day
- Manage a team of several developers working on minware's core application
- Provide career guidance and conduct performance reviews for engineers
- Conduct interviews and play an active role in growing the team
- Review code, participate in sprint meetings, and provide guidance to ensure that engineers are meeting product and technical requirements
- This is a player/coach role, so you will spend part of your time working on development tasks as part of the team
- Work closely with product managers and customers to define minware's capabilities
- Design and architect new system components
- Manage a backlog of tech debt reduction and internal efficiency improvements.
