Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in software testing
- Advanced knowledge of functional integration regression and performance testing
- Experience with test automation using Python and automated test frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and troubleshooting tools
- Ability to analyze logs traces and system artifacts
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers and other engineering disciplines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication with technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced development environments
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools is an asset
- Familiarity with DOCSIS broadband access virtualization IPv4/IPv6 networking timing and synchronization concepts is a strong asset
- Experience with VoIP and PacketCable service validation troubleshooting and provisioning in cable broadband environments including HFC networks

Day to day
- Test vCMTS software features end to end across distributed and containerized platforms.
- Design and execute manual and partially automated tests for functional integration regression interoperability performance recovery and stability.
- Analyze logs traces and system artifacts to isolate defects validate DOCSIS networking behavior and improve release readiness.
