What the job involves
Define, design, and document Green Dot’s banking platform capabilities in partnership with business partners, product owners, and technical SMEs. Assess vendor and partner technical offerings and integration requirements, supporting the engineering team through evaluation and design phases. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and problem solving to the engineering teams delivering business domain solutions.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to Product and Business Development teams regarding the Platform capabilities and multiple technology stacks. Analyze financial products and integrations, proposing recommendations and customer-centric solutions. Support business development teams in scoping, designing, and planning work for client integration.
Combine business, internal functions, and technology information to solve business requirements. Estimate project and solution effort, ensuring applications and services fit for purpose. Create High Level and Low Level Design documents, managing the technical design process with SMEs. Support SW Engineering teams, mentor teams, and engage with stakeholders integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
